reGeneration

Love New Canadians is proud to recommend the book reGeneration: Stories of Resilient Faith in Communist Romania, written by our very own board member, Miriam Charter!

Story is a powerful tool for teaching and learning. This is a book of stories about ministry in the underground church of communist Romania (1980s). It introduces a never-ending story about the regenerative process of true discipleship, which reaches today to the second, third, and fourth generations. These stories inspire the reader to reflect deeply on challenging missional issues that will certainly be encountered by the next generation of international workers.

Hi Miriam; My husband’s family is from Romania /Ukraine three generations ago and is still here. My heart is sore as I watch all the news in the Ukraine and wonder is there something I could do as a TESL instructor. I am sure folks in churches are asking the same questions and I think this group may have some answers. Just want to put those three things: wish to help, desire to do, and need for help coming into a new country into a tool that you have.
